An update on our Christmas appeal
14th February 2012
In December we told you about our work with Chestnut Tree House, a home away from home for children with progressive life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses. The charity gave us a Christmas wish list which contained a number of items that they thought would make the world of difference to the children who go there.
We shared this appeal with our customers and we’re pleased to say it touched your hearts, as well as ours. In the end, between Cube Records Management Servie and our customers, we managed to buy all the presents on the list. These included:
The VTech Sing and Discover Piano – Every child loves playing with noisy toys so we know that this will be well loved and played with by the little ones during their time at Chestnut Tree House.
Disney Pixer Cars 2 Frustration Game – Do you remember playing Ludo as a child? We do so we know the children will enjoy this updated version featuring Lightening McQueen.
Radio Controlled Lamborghini – Kids and adults alike love playing with radio controlled cars so we know this will be well used around the rooms and corridors of Chestnut Tree House.
We received a lovely letter and photo back from Chestnut Tree House telling us how important these gifts were to the children and families that go there.
